Leader of the Band

John Agle founded Souvenirs, a Dan Fogelberg tribute band, with a deep passion for honoring the legacy of a remarkable singer/songwriter who left an indelible mark on music. Inspired by his lifelong connection to the arts and a determination to redefine his retirement, John brings both leadership and a personal connection to the stage. His mission is simple: to celebrate Dan’s timeless compositions and bring them to life for both devoted fans and new audiences alike. With an eclectic repertoire spanning Fogelberg’s greatest hits and deeper cuts, Souvenirs delivers an authentic and heartfelt tribute, uniting a talented group of local musicians under John’s direction.

Jay Tausig

Lead Guitar/Synthesizers/Cello

Jay Tausig is a vocalist / multi Instrumentalist. His lifelong obsession with all things music began at the age of 9. 
Jay has extensive experience performing live and has released well over 60 albums of original, self produced music, and has appeared on as many compilations, collaborations and tribute albums since the early 90’s.

Anni McCann

Piano/Vocals

Multi-instrumentalist and international performing/recording artist, Anni McCann, holding a bachelor of music degree and trained in opera/musical theater performance, is a versatile vocal stylist, pianist, and guitarist. Best known for her work with the folk-jazz trio, Backwoods Jazz, and Supertramp’s Roger Hodgson, her decades of professional experience include performing for such notables as the Queen of England. She is a featured vocalist in 1,000 Kisses Deep, a Leonard Cohen tribute show, highlighting her unique rendition of Hallelujah. Anni also performs solo, enjoys composing, writing vocal harmony arrangements, and assisting other artists as a piano accompanist. An experienced studio musician, releases include three albums with her group Backwoods Jazz and two solo albums, This Moment and Open Page. Her most recent venture is an all female vocal trio, The Dolli Mamas.

Elena Rayo

Vocals, Violin, Acoustic & Electric Guitar, Keyboards

Elena Rayo is a lifelong musician, with her roots in Wisconsin and over two decades living in Nevada City, California. She studied classical violin from the age of five, played in countless bands through college.  After teaching herself to play guitar (which resulted in 5 studio albums and domestic tours), she joined forces with the late Saul Rayo to record several more studio albums and toured internationally.  Nowadays, in addition to her work with Souvenirs, Elena fronts  Rayo! and performs in the Dolli Mamas.  She is a Cambridge scholar, owner of Ancient Wave Studios, and is a medical qigong instructor.

Mark McCartney

Drums

Watching Mark play drums has been described by some as witnessing “a musical monster that has been unchained.” Playing every style from jazz to African, Reggae to Alternative Rock to Celtic for the past 40 years, Mark has also studied with prominent L.A. recording artists. In addition to playing and touring with Shana Morrison (Van’s daughter), he’s played with Claddagh featuring Kevin Brennan from Belfast, Bill Spooner of The Tubes, Ivan Najera, Lorraine Gervais, Robert Powell, The Deadbeats, Saul Rayo, Objects in the Mirror, The Perry Mills Project, Michael and the machines, Souvenirs and with Greenthings, an alternative band signed to MCA records, and now with his latest project Achilles Wheel.

Matt Peak

Bass Guitar

Matt has played music most of his life, starting on drums in elementary school, guitar at the start of high school then quickly discovering bass. It was watching Chris Squier of YES  that made him realize bass guitar was his calling. Since then, Matt has played in many original and cover bands on both the east and west coasts. As a professional visual artist he has done many CD covers for film scores as well as session photography. His exposure to the inside workings of world class orchestral music has expanded his musical understanding of playing, writing and recording.
